How to Write an Effective Essay - Step-By-Step Inquiry Based Writing
How to Write an Effective Essay - Step-By-Step Inquiry Based WritingOne of the key requirements for effective essay writing is for it to have the requisite foundation in inquiry-based writing. So how can this be achieved?Of course, most students start by writing essays on a topic they already know about. Thus, the assignment is already pre-arranged, and there is no need to think too much about what to write, or how to format it.However, such a technique can turn out to be somewhat problematic, especially when one has never written anything like this before, and has to learn the proper way to write it. The first thing one should do is to take some time and read through some of the classics - Theophrastus, Montaigne, Rousseau, Thomas Hobbes, Erasmus of Rotterdam, and Jean Bodin. When you are done with this exercise, the next step is to search online and see if there are any resources available. If there are, try to find out what the books were about and make a note of them for later ref erence.By reading and studying the previous writers, it is possible to discover how the writing process works. It is this process that will help you get a general idea of how to write your own essay. And once you have a general idea of how they write, you can then use this as a guide to outline your own essay and work from there. The great thing about writing is that you are given a few steps to follow, and therefore you can easily obtain a thorough outline of what you want to say. In fact, you will find it so easy that the process may seem very complicated at first.Once you have this outline, the assignment will simply be a matter of filling it up and submitting it. There's no sense in spending lots of time over the task. However, a paper that has the right words and sentences will give you the confidence that you need to write better essays. After all, your essay is your statement of belief, and thus, you need to be able to defend it with the right words.
